- now has two teeth on the bottom
- can sit up for a few seconds before he topples over
- rolls from back to front and front to back without a thought
- loves eating
- is still swaddled but we are working on breaking that
- says "dadadadadadada"
- loves watching his sister entertain him and bursts into giggles with peek a boo
- is working on getting his butt in the air when he's on his stomach
- is switched over to a bigger car seat (at least in one car. this momma forgot that we now have two cars so need two new car seats)
- is speaking a mixture of japanese, dutch and english and what I call japanese english (english with a japanese accent)
- has started "reading" her stories to us
- is pretty much done with naps. Every once in a blue moon we'll get a nap out of her. However, quiet time continues as a much needed break.
- wants to help "cook, clean, vacuum, clear dishes" and yes these are all in quotes as anyone with a toddler knows that this help, though sweet, makes for more work
- often points out to us how we should be doing things according to her desires
- loves giving hugs and kisses and has started doing an "I love you" run where she signs I love you and runs around
- Is very particular about what music needs to be played
I am loving watching these very two different children grow with each other and learn about each other!
I was counting with Layna and Luca tonight in German and they both thought eight in German was the funniest thing ever....not sure why but hilarious to see them laughing together none the less!
