all things girly

I have somewhat been dreading this day to be honest. I am not a girly girl. I like some things but nail polish and lipstick both leave me a little underwhelmed. Layna came home the other day asking for nail polish. Her little friend at school wears it and she thought it was just the best thing. I don't own nail polish or remover. I go for a pedicure maybe once or twice a year. One of those days was last week. Thankfully my friend was generous enough to loan me some of her polish because layna would have been devastated if I had come home with painted toes and she did not have to opportunity to join. She is soooo excited to have her toes painted. Here is her first at home pedicure. Daddy thought that apparently he could do a better job.
