ball o' nerves

Kimi is at his job fair this weekend hopefully securing us some peace of mind about where we are going to be next year. He left early this morning in a very hot new suit an will hopefully be interviewing sunday and monday. I continue to do the never ending job of getting the house ready. As I ponder our rather stupid move in buying a house and an even more stupid move in selling it 4 years post buy I vacillate between chuckling and tears.

Yesterday was spent with Kimi pressure washing our yard until about 8 pm, and me printing out resumes, pictures, philosiphies of education and putting them all together in a nice binder. We realized that in our day of trying to get things done we forgot to pick up his shirts at dry cleaning and nearly forgot to pick up his brand new suit. Thank goodness for late store hours on that one. So a couple of new shirts later and a tailored suit and he's off to hopefully win over a school and convince them that he is The One for them. I sent along my resume and letter of introduction today as well and now it's just waiting and hoping that a fish bites.

I am reminded of how grateful I am to even have this opportunity, to have friends and family who have been so supportive in this very stressful time. Our house will hopefully be on the market very soon. I think or capacity for "doing more" to get it show ready is at about it's peak. Lets just get 'er done.

I'll keep you all posted. In the mean time here is a picture taken from my kitchen window that our realtor requested. I'll miss this view (on the 10 days a year that I get to see it) ;)
