Thought for the day

I cannot believe/fathom that tomorrow at this time I will have "taught" a 5th and 2nd grade class. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that I will be in front of a classroom.

For those of you who are teachers you will find this amusing: I had a whole lesson plan laid out for grade 5 and two. Ready to go. I had my worksheets etc. Thought that I was super prepared. Let Kimi look at it and he just laughed. The feedback I got

"Jess, the first few days you should probably just work on classroom rules and management. There is no way you'll be able to teach a whole lesson."
