I'm not sure if she was more upset about leaving school, or me having to leave her and run back to school. It was hard to turn the car around. Especially because she clung to my leg and refused to let go. 2 minutes after I left I received a text saying that she was fine. I knew that she would be. We've done this before. It was part of our normal in Seattle and it's part of our normal here. It doesn't happen often and it didn't happen often in Seattle. Normal. And hard. But not so different
