the rushing of time

I feel the pressure of documenting as time is quickly rushing by and my children are growing older and out of the toddler phase (the fact that I wrote baby first and had to go back and erase it should tell me something).

Jonah
- still says growm ups for grown ups
- says We never have had cereal for a long time as opposed to we haven't
- Is being mistaken for Ayumi's twin quite often these days
- spends long stretches of time in his own world playing fire man sam
- likes to wear a clip (the sparkliest one possible) to church on Sunday
- has only one level that he speaks at - loud
- speaks English with a completely Rwandan accent when with our housekeeper/nanny

Ayumi
- is reading better in Dutch than in English
- Kissed a boy "on the lips" because "I love him"......oi.....
- has learned to lie to not get in trouble
- likes to put on "make up" in the morning (ie chapstick)
- would rather be playing with friends
- is very difficult to get up in the morning
