My kids walked to school on their own this morning. Granted it's not far. They had to walk from Kimi's class up the stairs, across the sports field, open the gate and through to the compound next door. Not much room for danger at all, but how did we get here already? We were told emphatically to "NOT follow." So we did what any normal parent would do and hid in the bushes along the way while they held hands, picked flowers and greeted other students.
