- starting my masters of Education with k-8 math and science focus in two weeks (that is - if the books get here)
- interviewed for a position at my current school. Still no news on a yes or no
- Successfully encouraged enough girls to have a true basketball team (started with 5 and are now up to 10!)
- led a dance routine at school for arts and culture month (the wobble!!)
- got to spend a WONDERFUL weekend in the rainforest with friends from Seattle

- taking on the role of athletic director even though he hasn't officially been given the title (yet)
- said the other day "yes, let's go to Seattle for the summer!"....no tickets in hand yet, I'll keep you posted
- spending way too much of our own money on his high school soccer team

- Reading short word books like hop on pop
- leading in singing for arts and culture month
- learning to share the spotlight with her younger brother
Jonah
- doing things in his own jonah way. He cannot be sped up once he's put his mind to doing something a certain way
- learning that there are consequences for actions
- using his "cuteness" to get his way with his teachers and with Janet - so yes, he's manipulative
- working on phonetically sounding out his letters
