we are now here

... in Kandern. The plane ride went surprisingly smooth as those things can go or rather, our expectation of how those thing can go has become more realistic.

I went on my first trail run, jog this morning. We are acclimating the 90 + degree weather and trying to beat jet lag. It feels like vacation. And it is. I will wait to have reality set in until Kigali. The goodbyes in Seattle were hard. Too hard. It feels nice to have a little space for a while to just breath and be.
